School Day of Non-Violence and Peace, 

30th January

The last week of January, we celebrate at school the Week of Peace because the 30th of January is the School Day of Non-Violence and Peace. This same day Mahatma Gandhi, a Nobel Peace Prize winner was killed. 

We're going to do some activities around this topic in the English classes. Remember that "peace" is not only the absence of "war", it takes much more: social justice, equality, tolerance, EDUCATION, free of speech, happiness...
